If you’ve been reading, collecting, or following the What If We Were All™ series, you may have noticed a familiar title listed among our upcoming books: What If We Were All Mindful!
We have a little series update to share.
Don’t worry. What If We Were All Mindful! is still coming.
But it will be arriving a little later than originally planned.
Why Is the Series Lineup Changing?
The What If We Were All™ series has consistently been centered around exploring children’s perspectives through a powerful statement: What could our world be like if we collectively embraced and practiced important values!
From celebrating differences in What If We Were All The Same! to exploring friendship, kindness, generosity, honesty, and curiosity, every book has been created around a specific lesson children can recognize and apply to their own lives.
As the series continues to grow, we are becoming even more intentional about the lessons each book explores.
And recently, a new idea became impossible to ignore.
There is another conversation we believe children need.
So, we made a change.
A Brand-New Book 8 Is Coming
A completely new title will officially become Book 8 in the What If We Were All™ series.
We are not sharing the title yet—but the manuscript is being developed, the cover direction is underway, and we already know this story will explore an important concept in a way that is very different from the books that came before it.
This is not another book about kindness.
It is not another friendship story.
And it will not repeat lessons we have already explored in the series.
Book 8 has its own lesson to teach.
What About What If We Were All Mindful!?
What If We Were All Mindful! remains part of the future of the What If We Were All™ series.
In fact, giving the book more time has allowed us to think more deeply about where mindfulness belongs within the growing world of these books and how its message can connect to future conversations about emotions, choices, and how children respond to the world around them.
Sometimes a series grows beyond its original plan.
And sometimes the right story arrives and asks to be told first.
That is exactly what happened with Book 8.
Mark Your Calendars for the Big Reveal
The official Book 8 title will be announced in September 2026.
Then, in October 2026, we will reveal the official cover and introduce readers to the newest colorful addition to the What If We Were All™ collection.
The new Book 8 is scheduled to arrive in May 2027.
